A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
Welcome to Provision Packs! It is hard to believe that our first packs went out 10 years ago in 2014. What started with three packs and the idea of “we will only do this until we find the Calvary” is hard to imagine now. I have to smile in spite of myself when I look at our prediction for this year: 1,100 bags per week, totaling over 11,000 meals each week as we continue our fight against childhood hunger and our goal to help feed the one in five children who go without. Year by year, child by child, we have continued to grow, now feeding both Volusia and Flagler counties. Over 1,000 kids per week not only feels like a lot, but it is a lot. However, there are so many more kids in schools waiting for us. Provision Packs has always been a community project. Since the beginning, individuals, organizations, and corporations within our community have come together to advocate on behalf of our neighbors who so desperately need our help. It is my goal and the hope of all of us at Provision Packs that we will continue to earn your faith and support. Together, we can build a better tomorrow by investing in our children today. We hope you will continue to join our efforts to feed the children right here in our community. In doing so, watch as all of us grow stronger. We truly are better together, and I thank everyone who has joined our pack. We invite everyone in our community to join our pack, to show each child that they matter and that they are worth the basic fundamentals of life. We can do this… Hungry kids get food...PERIOD and we do it...One pack at a time. Here’s to another great year, wonderful partnerships, and significant impact.
